Where are you situated?

We currently have two practices in Cape Town. One in Century City and another in Rondebosch.

Our Century City practice is situated at 4 Park Lane within the Central Park area of Century City. When arriving at Century City, keep an eye out for signs directing you to Intercare Day Hospital - we are located immediately next door to Intercare within the Century Medical Suites building.

The new Rondebosch Practice is inside Victoria House Wellness Group off Belmont Road in Rondebosch. If you're coming from Campground Road, Victoria House is on your right about halfway towards Belmont Bridge. Turn into Erin road and then immediately right again into Elma road where parking is available on your right hand side.

Is there parking available nearby?

Absolutely! Both our practices have convenient parking spaces for our clients right outside each practice.

When arriving at the entrance to Central Park, proceed through the booms into the parking lot where ample parking is provided, free of charge.

It's my first visit. I'm not entirely sure what to expect...

Relax. Whether you're visiting us for the first of s series of "routine" treatments or have been sent by a GP or another Specialist to have any relevant condition treated, there is absolutely nothing to be worried about. Right at the very top of our priority list is the well-being of our patients. We aim to provide a healing service that is EFFECTIVE first and foremost, but also an experience that is comfortable and stress free – carried out in a relaxed environment where your well-being is our number one priority!

Because it's your first visit, please do try to arrive 10 - 15 minutes before your appointment as there are a couple of essential forms that need to be completed by you prior to seeing the Chiropractor.

How long can I expect my appointment to last?

If this is your first visit, then, as mentioned above, please try to arrive 10 - 15 minutes before your appointment in order to complete a new patient form prior to seeing your Chiropractor.

For first visits, you can expect your visit with the Doctor to last about 30 minutes as he will be required to get to know you, your case history and ask a few diagnostic questions prior to your actual examination and treatment.

For repeat visitors of Century Chiropractic, you can expect your appointment to last 20 - 30 minutes at the most - please do understand of course that this is entirely reliant on your condition and the relevant treatment and therefore this time might fluctuate on occasion.

Do I need to bring anything specific along to my appointment?

Any useful information that you might have that has either been specifically requested, or otherwise might just prove to bee useful in relation to your case - please do bring this along. Items such as referral letters, X-rays, scans, blood tests or anything else that might be relevant, will go a long way in towards both speeding up your session as well as gainer a more accurate and effective diagnoses and resultant treatment.

Is there any specific I should wear to make treatment easier?

We do have gowns of all sizes available for patients of to change into should it be required for their treatment, so your choice of attire is not going to result in any any issues with with regards to your treatment. If you have the option available, it is helpful for your own convenience if you are able to avoid wearing any tight pants or trousers.

Ultimately we just recommend wearing whatever allows you to feel comfortable and relaxed both before and after your treatment. As mentioned, gowns are available for patients to wear during treatment if necessary.
